to start?
Custom rod building is an art, a craft limited
only by your own imagination. It is not a hard craft to learn, but
one that is ever changing with new ideas, new materials and new
techniques. It is fun and a very rewarding endeavor.
Build better fishing rods and have more fun doing
it! In the craft of custom rod building, no one is an
'expert'. Some builders have more experience than others but
they are constantly learning.
Rick's Custom Fishing Rods is
offering a "Rod Building" class for beginner rod builders.
The course will be instructional in nature. An instructor will show
you all the basic procedures in custom rod building. Classes are
designed for people who have little to no experience building
fishing rods.
Class size will be limited to four students to
insure plenty of personal attention
